new set of callaway irons?

hey yal i just registered and i havn't played golf in 3 years. i want to get back into it again and am wanting some good clubs. i already have a good driver(king cobra) and a putter(odyssey) but i need a new set of irons. i was looking at the callaway steelhead 16 on www.tgw.com and they looked like real solid clubs. what do yal think? thanks for the help.

callaway fan

I would think that anybody would be happy with the 16's. I personally favor the X-14's, but they should serve you well. Good luck.

If your going to spend that kind of money I would get ahold of Innovex and look into purchasing a set of irons from them that will be made specifically for you, in the long run you will be happier that you decided to go custom and the results will be clear from the start.

thanks for all the help. i went to a local golf store today and the guy had a set of used x-12's 3-pw for $199.99. is that a good price? how are the clubs? he let me try them out for a couple of days and i have to take them back saturday. i went to the driving range with them this evening and they felt like pretty good clubs. thanks again for the help.
