This is a repost.... but I will say the same thing. I think it is just that factory that is closing down... now they will probably all be made over seas. Rifle shafts have too much of a following to go down the tubes.

Well, RP has US manufacturing and Japan manufacturing...as mentioned above, all functions will probably go overseas to Japan, which is a good thing since quality control will be a little tighter but the prices will go up a couple steps as well.

Im not to sure about them sending it over seas, and I don't have an inside story or anything, but I did google search the closing and this site came up ( http://www.ctcentral.com/site/news.c...= 12530&rfi=6 ) and at the bottom it specifically says "Casey(the financial officer) would not say if the company was negotiating with anyone who may want to purchase all or part of the assets, but did say Royal Precision is out of business." So that doesn't really seem to me that they are just closing one plant.
Just a side note, right now I am kinda glad I didn't get rifles in my irons I ordered on thursday

Even if they do fold....and I do not think that they will....True Temper Black Gold shafts are Project X's at a 100 bucks less.

Royal Precision already has a Japan manufacturer and headquarter. From the article posted, they only mentioned shutting the doors of the US headquarter.
