fubag,
I don't know how Art Van Delay likes his, but I love mine. I've never been able to hit a 3, or 4 iron consistently, but since getting my Adams 3 and 4, I'm no longer worried about pulling the long "irons" out of the bag and hitting the shot.
They're extremely forgiving, and offset enough to make hitting it either straight, or with a slight draw easy. They've earned their place in my bag.
Got them off eBay from RockBottomGolf in stiff steel. It was the only way I could afford them, and they have definitely been worth the money. I did upgrade the shafts and grips, but they were still affordable even after the upgrades.
Thanks. I've been lookin for something to replace those long irons so maybe this will help. I'll check it out.
fubag I just won the auction the other day so I haven't gotten the clubs yet. Once I get them and have a chance to try them on the range I will give you all a report. I also got them from rockbottomgolf, but through their store on ebay. I got them for $27 cheaper than they list on their regular website. Good luck.
Another option is Innovex golf. I haven't hit one of their hybrids (yet) but they've had good reviews and they're pretty cheap. I have their irons and they're terrific.
I got my hybrids from Pinemeadow Golf, a set of Nike clones called "Synchron Medics", but I don't think they carry them anymore. I got the 18°, 21°, and 23° for less than $115 shipped. Might be a good idea to find a type of hybrid you like by going to a local retailer and trying them out, then find a good set of clones for less money online!
Brand new Orlimar, with a Aldilla shaft, $39 w/headcover. If you're not interested in looking on ebay, this might be a better option, at least it's relatively inexpensive.
knight 22 degree hybrid it was a great feeling club and after hitting his im going to get one for myself you can get them at the local wally world 19.95
