I have a Wilson HB 5 in 19* you caa have it for $25 shipped, I hate, I hate hybrids period. IT's in pretty much new shape, only 1 round and some range time.
Zevo Hybrid from Golfsmith.com. 19* for $29.95. Get it with a stiff steel shaft and this club plays really well. I've hit 220+ with this and it feels and looks great. Replaced my 5 wood.
Hey everyone. First post here. Anyways I was looking for a good but not that expensive hybrid. Any tips?
I know that the Nike Hybrids are expensive, but have you tried them out? I was thinking about getting one myself, but I'll wait until you do, and you can tell me if it's worth it.
I have a Snake Eyes Quick Strike (original). Got it off e-bay for $20 shipped. I like it, the feel is different from some of the other hybrids on the market (because of the cast steel I suppose). There is also a Quick Strike II that is reasonable and supposed to be good. Snake Eyes is a component company so if you want to get the clubs already built you have to use e-bay or a smaller website that builds clubs.
I have a TaylorMade Rescue, and love it, but I have also heard good things about the Nickent 3DX hybrids. Whichever way you go, you will love hitting hybrids!
fubag,
I don't know how Art Van Delay likes his, but I love mine. I've never been able to hit a 3, or 4 iron consistently, but since getting my Adams 3 and 4, I'm no longer worried about pulling the long "irons" out of the bag and hitting the shot.
They're extremely forgiving, and offset enough to make hitting it either straight, or with a slight draw easy. They've earned their place in my bag.
Got them off eBay from RockBottomGolf in stiff steel. It was the only way I could afford them, and they have definitely been worth the money. I did upgrade the shafts and grips, but they were still affordable even after the upgrades.
