Gloves

What kind of gloves do you guys use? I normally use Footjoy Weathersof but lately everyone I wear gets all twisted at the thumb and its quite annoying, and then I got a nike that gets twisted in the index finger. None of these stupid things a right. Any other models of gloves that are good?

I try them now and then, but I seem to make better shots without a glove. If gloves seem to bother you, try a practice or two without one, and use light grip pressure. JMO!

I wear any type of FootJoy. I can't really tell a difference between any gloves during a round, but I think the FootJoys last the longest.

Just started using a US Glove. Never heard of them before. Seems to be lasting better than the Footjoys and Nikes I've had before. More comfortable too. My golf pro wanted me to try it out.

Weird. Maybe you just play more than I do?

I'm on my second one this year, so for me not bad. Although my second one is on it's last leg.

Footjoy weathersoft for me.

Couple of obvious pointers -- if the glove is wearing excessively, it might be too tight/too small. I generally do a pinch test to determine proper fit -- if I can pinch enough of the glove to have the slightest bit of material between my thumb and forefinger (as it worn and fastened obviously), it's a proper fit. (Had a FJ rep show me this....)

Also, save the older, worn gloves for practice/warmup sessions and keep the newer ones for the course.

Footjoy FT-3's for me. I do keep the old ones in a bag pocket and the newest one on the velco on the bag (by the elastic tee holder). Good thing too as last time I went out, I couldn't find my new glove. My son had taken it off and I believe it was under a couch. The old ones will feel crusty for a few holes, but the sweat will fix it up quick.
