Grafally BiMatrix

Anyone hit one of these yet? Any opinions? Sounds like a shaft that will help take some revolutions off the ball with the driver and that's what I need. Happened to find a site selling them cheap, so I was interested. Haven't heard too much about them.

What site is it? C'mon share the deals! I have a True Temper BiMatrix rxi in my driver and just got my 3 wood back today with the same shaft. I tend to hit really high, so I got this one to keep the ball flight lower. All I have to compare it to is a steel uniflex shaft (in a callaway driver). I'm still not 100% used to the lighter weight, but the ball does go about 20-30 yards farther on decent hits.

I have hit one....it has a low torque...which I did not like....but it does take a lot of spin of the ball while still allowing a hight launch angle.....it is a good shaft.

Low torque and REALLY stiff at around 76 grams. Too boardy for me, but getting some play on the PGA Tour.

Hasn't seemed to help Tiger's driving.

So b/c of the low torque, it feels pretty stiff then right? Have you noticed if it plays stiffer than normal? I'm looking at a few different shafts to try b.c Amazon doesn't have the one Christian recommends me for the Accuflex line and really don't like the Adilia NV65. I was looking at the ProLaunch as well, but read on one of the reviews here that it plays stiff as well....

Edit: Guess too slow typing the question...... ...thanks for the answer SLICKSTIX1

Well I went and checked back at that site and the shaft they carry is actually the TT BiMatrix RX(?) and not the newer graffaloy bimatrix. Think they're selling them for under $40. What's the difference between these two? I'm hitting a TM R5 Dual D with a Prolaunch 65 stiff shaft. I hit this really high and the ball will balloon in the wind. Would either of these two shafts help? Also, my swing speed is between 100 abd 104. Should I get a regular flex or stiff in this shaft?

Yes both will help.....Which one on the Accuflex were you looking for? Accuflex is not hard to find at all. Yet the Bi does feel like a board...plays stiff..and you need a fast swing to max it out. I did not like it. I really do not like the NV 65....I like shafts that are in the middle of the two.

Was checking out the AccuFlex Evolution and VS339. I've just never seen either of these two shafts. With my swingspeed, could I use a regular flex BiMatrix since they play stiff?

Best Shaft on the market IMO:

1. Axiv 6568M. This shaft is made by the parent company that owns UST.....Mamiya. It is a distance shaft that is very accurate with the feel better then a speeder...the best of both worlds. Axiv will hit the US market next year. Best shaft out there....and the cost...well don't ask .

Control Shafts: (you gain no extra distance)
1. Fujikura Rombax
2. Diamana Blue
3. Fujikura Speeder 757
4. Grafally Bi-matrix
5. UST Pro Force V2
6. Grafalloy Blue

Distance and Control:
1. Accuflex Evolution....this shaft is the bomb.
2. Fujikura Speeders: Super nice. They would beat out the Accuflex but the Accuflex price is great.
3. Accuflex Icon A2

Distance shafts: (extra distance...at loss of accuracy)
1. Graphite Design. YS sweet feel but very whimpy.
2. Aldila (I do not like these shafts....to out of control)

There is a new Grafalloy coming out called the Axis. It is a distance shaft that I can tell. Tiger used on early this year and gained 15 extra yards just from the shaft...yet the day he used it he only hit 7% of the fairways. I have not seen this shaft yet.

I was recommended the Ultra Boom, but it looks like it has a low torque rating as well. I've been looking at the Evolution but again heard it was a stiffer type shaft. I used to have a hitters type swing, but now I have a swinger's type swing so low torque shafts just don't feel very good to me anymore.

If you have a swinger's type swing get the Accuflex Icon
A2...it is a perfect shaft for a medium tempo. The Fujikura Speeder 652 is excellent for a medium tempo too yet it cost more.
