Pinnacle golf balls

Couple weeks ago I bought Pinnacle Gold Long Drive golf balls $14.95 box. I would say that I have found the ball that I have been looking for great feel off the driver and irons and checks well on the greens. Anyone else out there tried these they are an inexpensive ball at $14.95 for 15 but are well worth a try.

I like the Exception the best out of the Pinnacle line.

Pinnacle makes a great ball. They are owned by Titlist (at least that is what I’ve been told). Try the Pinnacle Exception. It is even better. I can afford the Pro Vs, but I don’t like the way they always stop too soon. I rely on a little kick on my pitches and chips. You would like the Exception.

I tried one that I found, and it was very nice. Don't remember exactly which line, but it had gold lettering.

My two favorites are the Maxfli RedMax (now says Taylormade Red on the ball) and the Titleist DT So/Lo. Very nice feel and lots of distance. Not quite as cheap as $1/ball, though.

Is it true that Titelist and Pinacle are made in the same factory? The DT is probably a Pinacle with different markings.

Pinnacle is Titleist's value/distance line of balls. They are a bit too hard for me, but they are a good choice if you want to hit it long. If you like them but want a bit more feel, try the Nike Power Soft (green box) which cost about the same as the Pinnacles. The DT SoLo is nice too, but has a softer compression for slower swing speeds.

I've tried the DT SoLo and feel that the Pinnacle Exception is softer with no loss of distance.

These are the balls I use. I have both the Long Drives and regular ones. Great balls, GREAT distance.

Halk hi, I JUST got 2 boxes of 15 each of the Pinnacle Gold Distance... they are the ones with the soft cover and come in the red and white box.... actually feel pretty darned good all around. They are made by Acushnet Co. (Same as Titleist I believe.) Mine were 'get em' out of here priced at $12 per box of 15. Like em' Regards

Dick's had the Pinnacle value packs of overruns and x-outs, you get some with logo's for various golf courses, for $9.99 a 24 pack. The pack I got had 16 Exceptions and 8 Golds in it. I think it's a great deal.

exceptions are a great ball. Long off the driver and spin just as much as any ball besides the pro V's. They have a nice soft feel just like the pro v as well. I also won a dozen for getting 5th in a long drive contest .....hopefully it gets here soon.
