Torque question

I am considering a Ping G5 driver and see all of their shaft offerings have different torques. What does a higher torque give you as opposed to a lower torque?

Thanks

Lower torque in a shaft will reduce the twisting of the head on off-center hits, and it will also make the shaft feel slightly stiffer than it is. On the other hand, a high torque shaft will twist more on off center hits, but it will feel a little bit softer compared to the other.
