3¼" for me. WalMart has them for a few bucks. Dick's Sporting Goods has a bigger bag for around $5, and I get those because I prefer black tees for some goofy reason.
I use the 3" tees with my TM 580. They're long enough to stick in the ground firmly and sit high enough for the driver. - which is what i'm looking for. I'm not sure, but I think the 4" tees are illegal on the tour. Also, there are some new fangled tees out there that are also frowned upon(illegal) on the tour.
I have learned to tee up my driver with the ball a bit less than halfway above the crown...I know the "tee it high and let it fly", routine, but I have a habit of hitting under the ball and it pops up. If I keep the ball equator BELOW the top of the driver head, I don't have that problem. Then there is NO way I can get the driver under the ball. I know the sweet spot is higher on today's big headed drivers, but it does you no good if you hit the ball on the upper edge of the club head. I guess you have to learn what works for you and stick with it. I know that doing it like the "book" says was a waste of time for me. I uusually use the 3 1/4" tees with my driver and the little short ones when I tee up my irons.

I had the same problem when i tried to tee it up HIGH . You might get better results if you practice this drill a few times.
Swing your driver about knee-high back and forth for awhile to get out of the habit of sweeping just over the ground. When you go to hit a ball , don't let the driver head touch the ground after your last whaggle . Set the face up at the ball , then swing the head through the impact zone , rather than at the ball.
This helped me tremendously.
Most people use 2 3/4" to 3" tees for 460cc driver, but I prefer tee it up around 2 1/4"-2 1/2" from the ground to counter my own launch angle. Guys saw the Tiger Woods' Nike driver swing commercial on TV recently? I was surprised that Tiger did not tee it very high.
^^^ thats because of the sasquatch's wide sole, you dont need to tee it up more then you would a three wood.. i use 2 3/4's personally for my sasquatch and i tee it up about half way
I've been using the old standard size - not sure what length they are though, but they're not extra long. They can still get the ball off the ground enough for my driver.
I bought about 10 packs over the winter when Walmart had a sale - 23 cents a pack for 75 tees! So I'll be using these for quite a while.
