Do you try and stay with one Manufacturer?

Like if you use a Callaway Driver, will you also use Callaway Irons just to stay consistent with the brand that you are using or do you mix it up with all different Manufacturers? I find myself staying with one brand. I am currently looking to upgrade from my 1st set of Irons (Mercury Tour) and (Alien) Driver to something more better as I am playing alot more and want better equipment. I've been looking at Cleveland as well as King Cobra Irons and also am looking at there Drivers rather than having a mixed set.
What is your guys take on it?

I stopped with the one-manufacturer thing because, quite frankly, none of the OEMs do every club better than any other ones. Like, Titleist and Mizuno irons can't be beat, but then there's the TaylorMade drivers and the Cleveland wedges and the ficious cycle goes on because you can't choose.

If I had to go with all one manufacturer, I'd go with Titleist. Drivers and FW are very good, irons, wedges and putters are fantastic. But it's just that the woods aren't the absolute best out there or else the set would be perfect.

I've got a mixed set in the bag. Taylor Made Driver, Callaway 3 wood, Ping 5 wood, Nike Irons, Ben Hogan PW, Cleveland GW, Taylor Made SW and Cleveland LW. Whatever works is my motto.

A year ago I bought a Nike Driver, and liked it so much I bought the 3 wood. Then a few months ago, I bought a couple Nike Wedges, and continued to use my Titleist irons. Recently, I bought Nike irons, so, unintentionally, I ended up with a full Nike set. This is the only time in my life I had all one manufacturer in my bag, not counting the putter.

Since then, I've ditched the Nike wedges for Titleist, and I now have an TM r7driver. So I'm back to a mixed bag, which I like.

I prefer a mixed bag b/c I prefer the different characteristics in my various clubs. For instance, I like the weight and feel of the FT-3, but prefer the RAC TP wedges, etc, etc...

if i could choose to get a one maufacturer bag i wouldnt because no company makes everything best. Although i am on a budget i can still get some nice equipment with callaway and taylormade being the main companies and some titleist wedges and a titleist putter may come soon, not too sure though... If i had no budget though i would get a TM R7 425, Mizuno F-50 Fairway woods, Mizuno MP-32s, Titleist Vokey Spin Milled wedges, and a Titleist Scotty Cameron Newport 2.5 putter all in a Ogio bag, but that wont happen for a while...

Until eBay goes out of business I will probably have a different club of some sort in my bag. My latest acquisition a TaylorMade R5 type D.

I like my irons and wedges to match just for consistent look and feel, and I will never play another iron now that I have played Mizuno (I can't imagine anything feeling better). I keep trying other drivers and keep coming back to Titleist, and I love my Scotty C. Putter.

Cant agree more, they out do everybody in my opinion but odyssey is close in the running for the higher end putters but the lower end duffer putters are best from Odyssey because Scotty's are too soft for most public courses due to the slow greens...
