Question Shaft extensions vs. re-shafting

My club pro says I need an additional 3/4" on my graphite iron shafts. My question is, would getting my current shafts extended @ $8/club be as effective as a total re-shaft @$30/club?

I like my current set of irons, and I don't think buying a new set is going to fly with the wifey after buying my R7

Thanks for the quick reply. I think I'll go ahead and do it.

At $8/club, I won't be out much, and hopefully it'll help my swing (and marital status). I'm 6'1" w/fairly short arms for my height.
