Rifle Shafts

Can someone explain to me how rifle shafts work exactly as well as what affect they have on your trajectory.

The difference used to be they were more frequency matched than others. That might not be the case now, but they are still great shafts. I think you should expect a more penetrating ball flight. I have used them basically since they came out.

I have used rifles for a while now and they work the same as any other shaft. The ball flight is a higher launch, but has a more penetrating flight as well so they land softer. TT shafts in the x100 range are a much lower ball flight, but they still go about the same distance. I did try a DG SL shaft and I tell you if I hadn't had my order in for the rifles I would of went with that shaft. But at the end of the day I will be a rifle guy until TT messes with the formula.
