Regular vs Stiff graphite
Can anyone explain what the benefits are of having a stiff shaft over a regular? I'm looking to replace my 3 wood and I'd like to know what to look for when testing.

Generally, if you have the swing speed, the stiffer shaft will give you better accuracy.

Generally speaking, softer flex for more distance, stiffer flex for more accuracy and control.

It's all based on your swing speed...go have it clocked and then you will know what you need.

That's where I have a problem, 3 times I've gone to a demo / store with a launch monitor, and they can never get it to work for a left-handed golfer

I'm estimating my swing speed to be 95-100mph, which I think is 'medium' when talking about swing speeds.
