Kids Clubs

Has anybody had any experience purchasing kids clubs? My son is 5 years old and seems to have an interest. We played mini-golf a few times and he likes going with me to the driving range. I hear U.S. Kids is a good place to start.

Bought a Dunlop set for my 7 yr old. I don't know if it matters that much especially at 5. Got the whole set for $80 including bag. My son just wants to hit it far and gets frustrated when he duffs it. Welcome to golf son!

I got my 2 year old son the Snoopy golf club set from Golfsmith. They look like sturdy enough clubs that they could hold up to about a 7 yr old. There is only 3 clubs though; 1 medium loft wood, one iron, and a putter all in one small bag. All of them have metal heads and plastic/graphite shafts and a decent looking grip. Very decent quality for the $40 and seemed to be suitable for learning with Dad at the driving range.

Thanks for all the suggestions. The driving range runs a clinic beginning in the Spring. I'll probably pic him up one of the sets suggested here until I know he really likes it, then we'll step up.

Check out U.S. Kids Golf. They have the best selection for children from age 2 thru teens. They make golf gear ONLY for kids. I bought my daughter a set and the heads and shafts are the proper design and flex for children. All of the PGA teaching pros I know recommend them.
