I have something like that I got from Golfsmith. Its just a scope you look through with a bunch of lines you line up with the bottom and top of the flag. Its fairly accurate but it barely comes out of the bag.

Cool

I've got one, I purchased it 4 years ago, and I've used it ONCE, to see if it works, and it does to some extent, but I really don't know what I did with it, as it's not worth much. What you realy want to look into is a Laser Rangefinder. A laser works real well, and it will let you know the yardage to the flag or any other object on the course. Like how far it is to clear the bunker in front of the green, or the carry you need to get over that body of water in front of you. Very accurate, fast and easy to use, and very useful. I have one and I use it every time I play.

I have got a nikon 500G laser rangefinder and it has helped me make my own yardage book for my home course. It is invaluble for getting accurate yardages to flags, bunkers.
