Which Golf ball for Beginner

I have only been playing this game for a little over three months and was wondering what balls are best to use. I am left handed and yesterday was my best day with my driver. I normally slice (I think that's it, ball goes to the left?) the ball off the tee. My ball would start out straight as ever and then just start to spin left. Sometimes it just goes left off the tee. I was using a Maxfli Noodle and that I think was a difference maker for me yesterday. The problem is is that I am in Germany and can't find that ball here. Are there any other balls out there that are good to start with? thanks for the help.

if you can find Pinnacle Gold Long Drive they are a great ball so is Titlist DT/So/Lo. The DT's are about $19.00 doz and the Pinnacle's are less than $15.00 doz in the States both are worth a try if you can find them in Germany.

Noodle is a pretty popular choice.

I have been using the Pinnacle Exception.
I decided on them after reading all the good reviews they have received on this forum. I am new to golf, and so far this is the only ball I have played.
I am going to try a Noodlele this weekend. It will be interesting to see if at my level I will be able to notice a difference in how the ball's feel.
Check out the reviews of the Pinnacle in the review section.
They cost $2.00 more than the noodle at the store I buy them from.

As a beginner may I suggest you start at the cheapest price range and as you progress you will sort out your preference for a hard or soft cover ball. My point here is it is a waste of money to settle for the expensive balls because they are basically tailored for the better handicap / Professional golfer. Good luck and keep switching.

I was in this same boat not too long ago. I started off and went and bought a box of Maxfli M3's since they were on sale for 9.99. I hated them. They were like hitting a rock. Then I went and bought a box of Noodles Long and Soft. I love them! Definately could fill the difference in the ball.

I would get a sleeve of a very hard ball and a sleeve of soft balls and see which work the best for you. I personally hate extremely soft golf balls so I try to stick with harder ones. I have had great success with Pinacle gold long drives and Nike distance balls

Being a novice also, I have to agree with the people on the Nike distance balls. I used Dunlop Loco's when I started, which were cheap and ok, but felt like hitting a rock. I'm currently using Nike distnace and soft balls and they are great. I also got a chance to use Callaway Warbirds and those were very nice 2. You can find them for a great price right now on Rockbottomgolf.com.

You can try the Srixon Soft Feel ball. Good ball for the price. Decent distance off the tee and they are definatly comparable to the Noodle. I am trying the AD 333 today.

I switched to the AD 333 for added distance approximately 6 months ago with the idea of switching back to a softer ball come summer. Well I have not made the switch back as I have adapted to the less spin around the greens and find this ball really good. It also lasts two rounds and hardly scuffs so I will continue on with them.
