With them going out of business, I thought I'd give them a try. I mean, $50 for a new driver that was previously selling for $300-$400.
I know it looks odd, but at address, you couldn't tell (they actually resemble a Titleist at address). I played with it today for the first time- and I have to tell you, drives were straighter than normal, longer than normal. Even when I got sloppy, it didn't miss by much. Drives that I know would be out of bounds with my other drivers, were in the first cut.
They pair them with some nice shafts, Fujikura or Grafalloy, co-engineered. It has a different sound, but you get used to it.
So whether the "science" behind it is valid...who knows? Maybe its just a well designed, well built driver that fell victim to an industry that is tough to survive in.
But I like it alot and for the price, and performance, I'll be palying it quite a bit now as it finally starts to cool off in Texas...
