Hi all,
I am new to the forum so please be kind. I would like some insight to what you folks perceive to be the most durable golf glove. Now keep in mind what I mean by "DURABLE." I am **** on gloves. If I'm lucky a glove will last me a month or so. Please note, I realize I am gripping the club to tight and blah blah blah, but that it is not going to change. I would like to know from others if there is any particular brand or model of glove that seems to last longer than any others. So far the best has been the Nike Durafeel. I hit on the range about 4-5 times a week, 60 to a 120 balls each time. Any and all input would be much appreciated.
Thanx...Matt

golf gloves aren't meant to last very long the man at my proshop said that they should be replaced every 10-15 rounds. I am not sure if that is true or what but I can definately tell that mine are getting raddy after about ten rounds.

I had some Nike ones and they're hard and dirty from around 7 rounds at the golf range. I heard Footjoys are pretty good, so I'm going to try those out next.
There are a couple of brands made with kangaroo leather...they will outlast regular leather golves 2 or 3 times. You can put "kangaroo golf glove" in your computer search engine and find them. They are a little more expensive, but really long lasting.
I had a Nike something and it didn't last very long. I bought a Footjoy after that and it seems to be holding up pretty well. For any glove that your interested in, check ebay. They usually sell gloves in a 3 pack deal. Thats where I'm going to get my next glove or gloves.
Here's something that might help. Always have 2 pairs in your bag. One for driving range, one for the course. Be prepared to replace the one for the range more often, but at least u know that there's always one in pretty good condition whenever u play a round.
Also, i notice that since i started using Lamkin Crossline grips for my irons and wedges, i don't mind playing them without gloves on. The clubs are not slipping away, and my hands are not hurt. Anyone feel the same?
