Blatent giveaways on counterfeit clubs?

I recently purchased a used set of TM R7 driver on ebay and should be arriving here in 2 days. However, I'm doubting its authenticity due to the fact that the seller bought it from another ebay seller was who was selling multiple R7 drivers with the same description by looking at my seller's transaction history.

I'm wondering if anyone here know any dead giveaways on a counterfeit club such as specific serial number, design flaw, etc. Thanks in advance.

Well, not sure about TM, but I know Callaways were at one time being couterfeited left and right.

Did the seller not have a picture of the club you were buying? I can't imagine buying something without a picture.

Well at the time there was only about 30mins left in the auction and the item had 0 bids on it so I just bidded on it without putting much thoughts into it. I'm just praying that the driver is at least authentic.

I responded to a similar thread earlier. Right now there are probably 100 fraudulent Taylor Clubs on Ebay- I know, as I bought one last week. But mine was never shipped, Paypal money just went somewhere in China, and Paypal will reimburse. Some have received counterfeit clubs. All the frauds are relatively low priced and have "Buy it Now" from what I can tell. If you review the sellers ratings, and they have no reviews from buyers (only sellers) that would be an ominous sign of a hijacked account. If not, and it has a serial number, then you're ok. I haven't seen any TP frauds, just r7 460s. Good luck.

What did you pay? If it was an unbelievable bargain, it probably is a fake and not a bargain at all...I have seen pretty much every current "hot" model of all brands of clubs counterfieted here in Asia...
