Wilson Staff Di5 v Taylor Made RAC HT

I have not been able to get my hands on a set of Wilson Di5's to hit but I have had a few people tell me they are quite forgiving and get the ball really long and straight.

Just wondering if anyone has any comments on these clubs as I can't find many reviews on them at all. I know Wilson's are usually lower end but these clubs seem to be better quality. I love the feel of the RAC HT's which is why I use them as a comparison.

Main reason I ask is that I can get a set of the Wilson's for $370 but the RAC HT's are gunna cost me close to $600 and money is a bit of a factor.

If the Wilson's are just bad clubs are there any other clubs that you can recommend that won't break the bank.

Oh, and I live in Australia, clubs are **** expensive down here

Oh, also, this is my first post...YAY

First things first - Wilson clubs are in no way lower end clubs - sure they had the budget clubs like the Fatboy on the market for a while, but Wilson has been one of the highest quality club manufacturers on the market for over 90 years now. The Di5 is a very good set, albeit a couple years old now... then again, so are the HT's. Personally, I prefer any of Wilson's iron offerings right now to the corresponding Taylormade sets, and if the Wilson is only 60% of the price of the Taylormade, i'd say go for it, in a heartbeat.

Really? They have a bit of a reputation amongst the people I have been talking to. Maybe they are just all too used to those sets our grand-parents had. The good old Wilson 1200's.

I am going to give them a shot, if they are no good I can just sell them because they are an absolute steal at the price I am getting them at.
