For me, the worst was a Pink Lady, it was a couples tournament each team had to take turns using the pink ball on alternating holes. My god it was like hitting a marshmallow.
I've found Intechs are great for peeps who lose a lot of balls still (mainly a few of my friends that are still learning the game).
The ones I absolutely refuse to play are most Top Flites (read the $25 and under lines)...to me they give off absolutely no feel around the greens, which is an important attribute I prefer from the balls I play.
Strata Tour Soft, has to be the worst ball I've ever played. Supposed to be a softer version of the Tour ball, but it was useless. I played a local par 3 one time, and I wore out 2 brand new balls over 9 holes. Tore the covers so that the mantle layer was showing on both balls. Total garbage.
Pick it up its' good: What's wrong with MaxFli Balls? You must not have tried the right ones. I've been playing the M3 Tour, and Revolution Tour balls all summer, and they are great. Very long, and they spin good, and last for at least 36 holes if I don't lose it first. What didn't you like about the MaxFli, and which ball was it?
Any golf ball that I lose. I figure if it wasn't good enough to hit the fairway, it wasn't good enough for me to keep.
100% agree, whenever that happnes it usually down to a golf ball defect, of my clubs, or it was in a divot, or the fairway hasnt been cut, or someone was talking or i saw a bird move, or my back hurts.......well it works for me
srixons, they go nowhere, short and not that great a feel
Plus their commercials are stupid. I don't think golf balls should talk like they're from the ghetto and have a really, really, really white Jim Furyk tell us that it's the best ball he's ever hit.
