Calling all Winn G8 users
I'm in need of some new grips and while demoing a few I noticed that the G8s had a vertical seam in the back. I was just wondering if that bothered you while you were playing. It seems like it would be kind of uncomfortable. Is it? Overall I love the grip. The tackiness and softfeel is what really makes me want them. When they wear down and break in, is the seam more noticeable? I just don't want to spend all that money on grips that will become uncomfortable in a month of play. Any input is welcome.

I don't wear a glove, and when I first got mine, I got blisters. Turns out, I may have been gripping the club too tightly.
Once I got used to the G8, it's a great grip.

I have two sets w/ G8's and I've never noticed the seam while playing.
If you plan to install these grips yourself, buy at least one extra.

I have never noticed the seam, but I do tend to grip them harder I guess because they are so soft. I really have to watch this.

do they make g8s both with spine and no spine(seam)? for some reason i feel like they do but maybe i am wrong. i love these grips...don't have them personally but i have used them and they are as comfortable as they get...don't know how they hold up in the rain though...i think they are better than the regular winns which become so saturated w/ water that they have to sit and bake in the sun for a day after playing in the rain.
