Haven't had the chance to demo any putters from Yes! golf yet. How would you rate the "feel" of these? I tend to like a very "soft" feel like the Odyssey XG insert. Where do they fall between the softest inserts and say a milled carbon steel putter?
Far more in the way of a "click" coming off the face. Since they're stainless steel, not carbon steel, i'd have to say they play even a bit harder faced than those. That's not to say the feel isn't good, I for one far prefer to actually be able to feel the face impact the ball, and have some sense of where you hit it. However, if you like the Odyssey style putters, i'd stay away from the Yes! ones - they are essentially opposite one another.

Seriously, I think my Yes! Callie feels pretty darn soft. They even make the forged version of it now and I'm sure it's softer.
I went from an Odyssey Two Ball putter to the Yes! Callie and I think I'm going to be with her for a while. We had a pretty good relationship this last golf year. Just go try a bunch out. Everyone's going to have an opinion, but you shouldn't let that affect what you like the looks and feel of.
The thing about the Yes (I have the tracy) is that there is a definite sweet spot, more so than in the two ball odyssey that I have...hit it sweet and it is soft...of course the ball you play makes a difference too...like Deron said, the only way to find a putter is to demo a bunch until one "speaks" to you...you will know when you found the right one...

Thus the chair over my head!
Seriously, I had intentions of getting a Callie for x-mas (can we say that here?), but I just liked the feel of the insert putters better. With that said, I'd do my best to demo several before making a decision! Good Luck again

Everything i've heard suggests that the forged is softer than the standard ones, but you're also jumping up a price bracket there, so...
I went from an Odyssey 2-ball to the Yes, Callie. The Callie feels crisper, and the ball rolls better for me. I have much better distance control with the Callie.
As we have all just demonstrated, feel is something that is different among everyone. Some say the Yes! putters feel crisp, while some say that they feel soft. I have the Yes! Tracy and I think it has a very soft feel. Almost like every ball is a ProV1 type ball, and like Bigvivec pointed out, there definitely is a sweet spot with my putter as well. Simp

Yeah...exactly why I haven't went out and bought the forged. I putt well enough with the 150 dollar one I've got. I don't need the 300 dollar one to putt exactly the same. lol.

Once they come out with the Sophia model in the forged series, and the price on it drops to what the standard ones are at now, then I MIGHT consider a change. Granted, any chance of that occurring is still a long way off yet, I think. As you said, if one putts well with this model, why go dish out 300 bucks for a softer feel, when the results won't really be likely that much, if at all, better?
