Callaway X driver

Has anyone used the Callaway X driver and if so, how did you like it compared to other drivers?

My son has the 9* 460X tour with a fuji 26.3 stiff shaft in it. If you put a nice smooth swing on it it goes a mile and straight. If you try to go after one it hooks like crazy. My miss with the driver when I over swing is usually a slice.

If you test drive one of these babies indoors be sure to wear your ear plugs. It's loud! I was at the course the other day trying to catch up with my son. He was about 300 yards away on the other side of an area of woods teeing off. I heard is drive and knew it was him by the sound of the driver.

It does hit it high but not ballooning. He still gets good roll out of it.

Overall, I would say it's definitely worth taking out for a test drive.

I really like mine, I can hit it a ton. On the range, the Cally I can put it 275+ if I am just seeing how hard I can hit it. And yes, it is loud...

And the best part was it was free, I won it off Golf Digest this past summer

I am currently swinging an R540XD and instead of spending the money to put a stiff shaft in it, I figure I would put that money towards a new driver in it. I have been looking at R5's and the Callaway X. Now I am even interested in the Cleveland Hi-Bore. Any suggestions?

the x460 is a great all titanium driver. But if you want to wait the new big bertha drive <coming in spring> has a more flexible face and better shaft options
