Vintage golf club forums?

Hello All!

I have some old clubs and I'd like to know how much they are worth. Are there any forums out there that specialize in this sort of thing?

How best do I figure out their worth?

They are Ladies RH. They have steel shafts but are covered in Hickory-looking plastic.

2, 3, 4 Woods: Wilson "Helen Hicks Personal Model". Persimmon, no cracks, good original leather grips.

2-8 irons: "Walter Hagen Tom-Boy". They are stamped "Power Bireflector Back" and "Bitaper shaft". They have dimples instead of grooves on the face.

TIA

Checkout www.ironfinder.com and http://houseofforged.com/ , speak to Robert Kent at The House of Forged. You can also try this site, http://www.geocities.com/dakre98/WilsonStaffID.html

I checked out those sites with little or no help.

But, many thanks anyway.

Apparently these clubs are too old for ironfinder et.al.

The Wilson site only covers irons starting in the 50's.

And they are not hickory shafts. I think they are probably the first generation steel shafts since they have a faux-hickory coating.

I did find a guy that sold 2 Hagen "Tomboy" irons (2 and 9 irons, the 9 being the putter) for $30 on ebay so I would think a complete set in excellent condition might have some real value.

Any additional comments or suggestions will be much appreciated...

ForgedRbest is a vintage guy himself. He is the "old" expert around here!
