Tigers New Irons

I was watching the telecast in the Japan event and the announcer said Tiger is using new forged blades from Nike. They said the nike sign is in the middle of the club and on the top region, they also their was no word on whether nike was planning on selling these clubs in the store. Nikerep or anyone else know anything about these?

sweet pic of them

They may not be new at all. He has used the same type of blade since he was 14 years old. Then he started with Mizuno, switched to Titleist....who he had them grind to match is Mizunos and then had Nike do the same thing. He got new ones this year because he wore out his old ones. My guess right now is that they are not any different from his old ones except for the stamping.

I don't know for sure, but he's been using Cameron putters for a while now, and from what I've read, he absolutely loves the putter he has now, and doesn't like changing putters. I'd be willing to bet he doesn't switch to the Nike unitized, but who knows.

I'll add to this. He's said he's tried out other putters and some have even felt better than his Scotty. But he said he's so comfortable with the Cameron and it's been there for him in the majors, so when he looks down on it (about to putt) he has a certain confidence with it. I say he stays with the SC.

Now about those Nike blades, when do we get to see the left handed models?

Exactly, I'd be willing to bet that we'll see those blades sometime around NEVER!

Us lefties are always an afterthought...if we're thought of at all.

Are you talking about where everyone lists their clubs at the bottom of their reply? Just click on "User CP" and put them there in your "Signature". Looks like you've already been there or else those animated smiley people wouldn't be in your replies.
