paint the sign of refinish?

ive got a lot of clubs from the callaway outlet which have all been great. i bought a "very good" steelhead III 5 wood that is just awesome, i love it, and i just recently got a brand new (not from the outlet) callaway fusion 3 wood (WOW).

My question is the 5 wood has a very high ping sound too it which i was scared about at first, but i just love it now. the 3 wood doesnt so much, and i was looking at the 5 wood and the thing was like new when i got it, no scratches at all, but there is a defect in the line where the paint meets the metal, like its not perfectly straight, and i was wondering if that means its refinished or if its not a real callaway? thanks, kinda weird question i know.

When Callaway preowned gets new woods they refinish them by repainting and applying a new sticker on the top. There was an article about PreOwned in the Callaway magazine. I doubt they would have sold you a club that wasn't a real Callaway nor would they have accepted it as a trade in.

I'm just going from what I can remember from the article. When I go home Wednesday I will look and see what it says.
