Wilson Staff Di5 Distance irons

I am thinking about picking up a set of the Wilson Staff Di5 irons. I am high handicapper. Any suggestions on these irons and if they would be a good fit. I was thinking about getting Snake Eyes Python OS but have been looking at the Di5 instead lately.

The Di5 is a nice club. With prices coming down on it progressively, it's hard to go wrong with it.

My Dad has the Di5. He paid $1299 NZ, so I haven't shown him how cheap they are on Rock Bottom Golf. His golf has never been better. A top quality club, and an absolute bargain at the prices they are now. Very forgiving, and very long. They're also really nice looking.

Thanks guys. I am playing with Wilson Fatshaft IV irons that I bought about 5 months ago. I bought them since they were only $60 and I wasn't sure if I was going to actually stick with golf. Since now I have fell in love with the game I think it is time for me to upgrade even though it isn't a huge upgrade. I think I will wait another 2 years before I move up to a $500+ set.

I use the Di5s and absolutely love them. I'm a 12 handicap but it makes no difference if you're a higher handicapper, it'll suit you just fine. Wilson Staffs of any kind are quality clubs and you really can't go wrong with them. The other thing that's important to me about clubs is the "look". - it's gotta be pleasing to the eye and i really like the looks of the Di5s.
BTW, I got mine off ebay for $200. They were barely used and less than a year old....what a deal !

I have seen that the Di5 have been going really good prices on ebay lately. Around the $150 range.

bad reviews

Any one seen any bad reviews on these? I haven't. tgw has them for 179.00
which is cheaper than rockbottomgolf. Ebay still may be the best route.

At those prices it really is a bargain. They were a fairly top price club for Wilson when they came out. The 5 is as in 2005. They're only cheap because they're a couple of years old, but they're very good, especially for a mid to high handicapper.

Bad thing is that I missed the auction for these that ended at $105. I was watching it when it ended but I didn't have the money at that time.

Finally got a chance to go play with my Di5's. I had to adjust to the normal size shaft and torque since I previously had Wilson Fat Shaft irons. After a couple of holes I started to hit the ball well. These irons are great. Great distance and a very soft feel to them. What a deal at $140.

I've been looking at these clubs a good bit lately as well. I am currently hitting Mitsushiba MVX w tungstun insert from like 1999....junk. I am thinking that these would be a huge upgrade and really help my game + at $150 on ebay how can you go wrong.
