bending wedges

can you change the loft of vokey wedges?
reason being, i have a 56 and a 54 deg which i hit virtually the same distance.
i use the 56 exclusively right now and want to bend the 54 to 52.
if so, approx cost?

thanks,
eric

Yeah, it's cheap. Just be careful, your bounce will change as a result. Shouldn't be a problem though as most 54 wedges are high bounce and most 52 wedges are lower bounce gap wedges.

Yes you can do it. I would not bend them more than 2*.

Curious...does anyone know the ratio of bounce change vs face angle adjustment?

Should be 1:1, but only a bounce angle gauge will tell you for sure.

So roughly...a one degree increase in face angle, say a 56 to a 57 would roughly equal a one degree gain of bounce? Sorry if I need it spelled out...the proshops here have guys trained by the factory and other agencies and they are quite good, but talk about lost in translation...I can't expect a good explanation from them is the bottom line...

That is correct. Increase loft by one degree increase bounce by one degree.
