Slazenger Money And Raw Distance Black?

I found brand new Slazenger Money and Raw Distance Black for $10 a dozen. Worth it? What does GR think of these balls, is there a considerable difference between the two? What other ball might you compare them to? (more interested in the Money ball, I try to stay away from strictly distance balls)

I'll tell ya, I played in a local 4 man charity tournamet a couple of months ago and they gave us gift bags during registration. They had a sleeve of the Slazenger Money balls in them and I thought, "What the heck". I ended up buying more of them! They aren't half bad! Now, they're no ProV1, as you would expect, but they are long and they have decent spin on the approach shots. Now, feel is very subjective, so take this for what it's worth, but I think the Slazenger Money ball plays simularly to the NXT Tour/Srixon AD 333/Srixon URX type balls. They're not half bad though.

The money are not a bad ball. I played them quite a bit last year as well as the RD Black. I didn't like the black as well as the Money. For me and my driver, it just had a very low ball flight and I ended up losing yardage. Towards the end of the season I started playing whatever I had left in my bag and I found that the Noodle is an awesome ball. For the money it offers everything. Great distance off the tee, soft, great playability and spin around the greens. By no means is it a Pro V1 but for the money, you can't beat it.

I think Slazenger stopped making the Money ball and will replace it with something similar. I bought a few boxes for $7 each at WalMart on clearence. That was some time ago and I've lost most of them. After the Nike Black and Super Soft Distance got #1 and #2 in CR, I got the SS Distance, and I'm not sure I really like it. I think the Money ball was better. But now that the old Nike Black is $20 and box, I picked up 4 boxes (and the new Juice for $20 also) and will try them out soon. But about the topic, the Money ball is a really really good ball.
