The STORM is here!
I finally had a few minutes to take some pictures of my new Bang STORM driver! Althought the pics came out pretty good, it looks so much better in person - the sunshine reflecting off the blue metallic, the way the colors of the grip and shaft coordinate with the head. I'm almost scared to go use it!
This is the driver head I won from the slogan contest that Custom Golf Sales (before Christian left) and Bang Golf held to find a cool slogan for this awesome clubhead. I still don't know which snippet of wit won me this prize, but right now I really don't care!
A BIG THANK YOU to Christian (now of Solid Rock Golf ) for making sure I got my prize, even though he was no longer responsible for it. He also put this club together for me, helping me choose a great shaft and grip to fit my game (or lack thereof) and still look great. He gave me a SWEET deal, at prices SOOOO LOOOWWW I can't mention them here!
Another BIG THANK YOU to Bang Golf for putting up the prize, and for designing such a great looking piece of equipment. If it performs half as good as it looks, I'll be playing ten times better than ever off the tee! The STORM has only been out a few weeks, and has already taken 1st and 3rd at the World Long Drive Championships in Mesquite, NV. Give me some of that!

Most awesome-looking driver I've seen in a while. Incx, this powerhouse seems really qualified for the Confidimus Propulso title. Hope she brings you many happy thrusts!!

Thanks so much for the comments Inc. While I try to build clubs for play, not for looks, I really like the ones that turn out great both ways and this club is definitely one of the best I have seen in a long time. I really hope this club plays for you as good as it looks.
If you do or did name clubs what would you call this one?
Blue Thunder?
If anyone is thinking of getting a Storm or something else don't hesitate to give me a shout and I will be glad to give my assistance in anyway.

It's my new "Thunder Stick"! Took it to the range today, and even hitting their beat up orbs of stone I was able to make some decent drives. I'll need to get some longer tees, however, as the face on the Storm is huge compared to the Adams RPM I was hitting. I only have 2 3/4 in tees, and may have to go with a longer tee to get the ball up to the sweet spot consistently. I did hit several balls really well as I played with different set ups, so I know I'll have to do a little more fine tuning to get optimal results.
I did notice that even when I tried to really "get on it", or hit more towards the toe, I didn't get as strong a fade as I did with other drivers. Seemed quite forgiving if not hit exactly on the sweet spot. I can't wait to get out on the course with some quality golf balls and some proper height tees!

Great post, Inconsistent.
It looks like a cross between the Big Bang and Bang-O-Matic. I hadn't checked their website in a few weeks so I appreciate the news.
I had mine made just a few months ago and am now a Bang loyalist. If I wasn't so happy with mine, I'd get a Storm -- your pics are awesome. Maybe next year!

Club looks great, but from the angles of the pictures it looks like the face is decently closed?

It may be slightly closed, but the way I had to set it up for the pic made it look more pronounced. Gripping the club, with proper stance and set up, it appears more neutral.

I believe Bang is a component manufacturer, and you have to purchase through a club builder like Christian at Solid Rock Golf, or Custom Golf Sales.
