Nikerep07?

I was wondering what the deal is on the cci forged irons is? How do they compare to other Nike's or other brands for that matter? I'm talking about head size, shaft options, loft, offset, etc. I also noticed that you said you liked some of the adams tour stuff, have you hit their forged iron yet? If so what did you think? thanks BTW Will the cci's be comparable to the x tours and what do you think of the x tours if you have hit them. Sorry for all the questions but you seem to have pretty good info.

Wow...My own thread!!! I'm honored!!! haha...

Ok...the cci forged irons are an absolutely beautiful set of irons...They have a sweet satin finish with very minimal offset...The head size are small with a thin topline......

They are softer than the pro combos!! The shaft options will be pretty much the same as the blades......

The adams new forged irons are awesome...They are actually pretty close the cci's....Adams is making a run to the top, and the new set they came out with is sweet..I hit a tour issue version of the idea irons, and they felt like butter!!!

The x tours arent bad, but they feel clicky to me..I feel like I hit them thin everytime I hit them....The sole is to big for me...Not a fan of the x tours...Still a little to meaty for my taste.... I will get more pics of the cci's soon!! VERY SOON...As well as all my gear! I'm trying to get a video up this week!

thanks, I'm looking forward to that video. I'm just an equipment junky thats thinking about getting a new set. I dont know if I'm gonna wait on the cci's or not but I like the look of em. Is the PW loft 46 or more traditional? I've been looking at the Macgregor m675 and the cg1 and cg2, I like those both a lot.

NikeRep, those blades look amazing! I can't wait to give they whirl when they're released to the public.

How do they compare to the older Nike Blades? From the address pic they appear to look quite similar, except for the satin finish.

Yea they are very nice...It is almost exactly a club to go in between the old blades and the pro combos...They are softer than the combos, and slightly and i mean slightly bigger than the blades...They are a cavity back, but barely...Almost like a cut muscle...I think they are the best of both worlds, and are going to do very well when they are released!!!! More pics to come shortly!

SWEET!! Can't wait for a review!
So envious of you NikeRep!!

Have you heard any word about what shafts have been working well in the tour players who have already put the SUMO or SUMO2 in play (ie Sabbatini this week in the World Cup)?

Sounds right up my alley. I feel club wise I would like something in between the blades and the tour combos. The blades aren't quite for me.

I have played blades for years, but after hitting these...there is honestly NO point to hit blades....These are HONESTLY best of both worlds!

Thats kind of my opinion too. With the clubs out now there really is noo need for true blades anymore, at least for 99 percent of golfers.

I can hit blades no problem but the only reason I like them more is because I hit the ball high, and want something to lower the trajectory....Well now they are making blades hit it higher as well, so now the cci's are truly best of both worlds!
