I received an Ogio Edge stand bag for Christmas. A very nice bag but I have one problem with it. The middle iron slot is too tight. Meaning the handles of the 3 irons I have in this slot are very tight at the bottom of the bag. The other 2 iron slots have plenty of room. Does anybody else have this bag and have the same problem? I am not sure if I got a defective bag or this is normal for the Edge.
I have an Ogio Edge. Awesome bag. If the handles go in the bag and you try to keep the grip close to the outside of the slot it will hang up on the frame inside the bag. I put them in and usually the grips end up being kind of stacked or tangled on one another in the center of the bag as opposed to all 3 laying neatly next to eachother. I was dissappointed about the same thing when I first got mine because the top looks like all the clubs should fit neatly down the line of the slots but it works well anyway, even though it does not eliminate the frustration of grip end tangle.
Thanks for the reply dblain. My son has the Ogio grom bag and it has the Woode system but does not have the same problem the Edge. Oh well, it's a great bag anyway and maybe the bottom of the slot will open up a bit after some use.
I have this bag and although it is not perfect it is by far the best bag I have ever owned.
I haven't used mine yet. Today will be the first day. But I really do like the bag. Plenty of pockets and well placed.
The only thing I'm not sure I like is the Hoode. I like to use my rain cover to transport my clubs. The normal style rain covers that snap on are easy to take on and off. This one is more cumbersome and I'm afraid I will break it putting my clubs in the car. Time will tell on this.

I thought the most cumbersome part of the Hoode headcover was putting it on correctly when the rain starts coming down on the course. But once it was on I enjoyed the fact that it snapped back in place protecting the clubs from the rain and I didn't need to worry about zippers and making sure all the clubs were being covered by the raincover (old bag had a rain cover that was too small).
I agree though that I won't be putting it on while transporting clubs to and from the course...although then again the bag wouldn't fit into my car if it was on

I totally agree that when it is on in the rain it will work great. And after putting it on a few times I will get the hang of it. I just have to get used to the fact that I can't transport my clubs with it on. Not that big of a deal. I just like to be able to pull my clubs out of the hatch back and not have half the irons stay behind.
I used it yesterday for the first time and I love this bag. The narrow slot was not a bother at all. I have to get used to having all those pockets and finding where I put everything.
