Three things: 1. Like rehcuob said, try some hot soapy water. 2. Windex and a rag. 3. Some course sand paper. Read 3 in golf digest, one of the pro's has his caddy do it once a week to keep his grips tacky.
you have no business going to Q school if you can't figure out what to do with slippery grips.Look up and down the range at any tour event and you will see players and caddies wiping down their grips.amazing simply amazing!!
Well, i never had a problem with slippery grips!
Had golf pride on and they were great!
When i fitted the midsize golf pride grips they were slippery as ****.
So if u dont have any advice, please dont waste my time by saying i dont belong at Q School!
I'm only 19 and would love 2 hand ur *** 2 u!!!!

Calm down, eddie. Maybe tm12 shouldn't have been so quick to judge your ability, but you can't let a few internet words get under your skin so easily. Remember, this is a gentleman's game. ; there's no reason to fight. (And don't take this post personally either...mostly I just wanted to post a few emoticons. )
BTW, speaking of Q School...how much game ya got?

I always wipe down my grips after changing them to remove the solvent that may have gotten on them and Ijust figured if good enough to go to q school you should have some knowledge about your equipment.
I wash the grips with overly soapy warm water with dish detergent as the soapy medium (I like lemon scent...)...I let the grips dry with the soapy residue all over them...this makes them really sticky, which I like...I also use sandpaper, even keep some in the bag and will give a quick scrub while rounding...
