Adams RPM Redline 460CC Driver or Tour Edge Jmax Carbon 460cc Driver

I found both of these clubs at very discounted prices. Which one would you recommend? I have Tour Edge irons in my bag (which I like a lot), but I don't see anyone talking about the brand much. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks.

Both are great clubs...Do they both have stock shafts? Have you hit any? I would reccomend trying to hit them, even if they are taped up, or try them out somewhere

The Tour Edge has a Fujikura shaft and the Adams doesn't specify. Both are graphite.

Have you ever hit the specific fuji thats in it? Is it a fuji speeder, or tour platform or a stock fuji like the Nike's? Without hitting it you would def have to know the specs of the shaft to see if it is even right for you!

Thanks for the replies NikeRep07. I am such a beginner that I don't even know the difference right now. That is exactly why I'm trying to purchase low price (yet quality) equipment at this time. From the sound of it I will probably not go wrong with either club. Again- thank for the help!

Thats ok that you are a beginner, and honestly, you are ahead of the game, just by asking and trying to figure out which is the best....

You made a comment that "you can't go wrong with either"....That could be true, but you also may not go right with either also.....Getting the best driver to fit you personally is so important.....Me or someone else on this forum could definately internet fit you, and it would help but there is nothing like going and getting fitted.

But if you wanted tell me your stats...How far do you hit your driver, do you hit it to high or to low..What shaft is your driver now, what loft is your driver now...Do you hit it straight, or slice or draw....Why do you want a new driver? and all of that stuff....I will try and help you based on the info

I love Adams clubs, but I cannot recommend the RPM driver (the standard Titanium, not the dual or quad: cause I haven't played those). In just 2-3 months from when I got it brand new in wrapping; the shaft broke at the hosel & there was a crack in the crown.

With all these problems, it just wasn't worth it. I can usually swing 90-100 mph on the course (when I'm more tense about accuracy, as opposed to faster on the range), but I couldn't get any average drive to go more than 215 yds.

I just got a Cobra Fspeed off Ebay for $100, and the thing hits it over 250 every time. I'm confident that the Adila shaft in the Cobra (over the stock Fujikura/Adams shaft) is a major reason why the Adams wasn't performing, but I still think the lower cost for the driver really is reflective in its performance. You can get much better deals out there.
