Im with ya guys on the ole swing flaw thing. Id also say try the above mentioned clubs. Also if possible you should try the Pro combos as well those are one of my favorites of Nikes offerings.

I don't necessarily believe it, that's just what I've heard. I've only owned two sets of clubs in my life, and the last set was Lynx Black Cat Tours, so I've never used game improvement clubs. I don't work the ball much, so I liked the idea of the game improvement clubs, but several posts and comments from people scared me away. I didn't want to develop swing flaws and not know it. I already have enough swing flaws :) I guess what it comes down to is just playing the set of clubs that feels best and hits the ball you want, regardless of what people say.

I'll probably stick with my MP-30's. I'm going to have a place here in town adjust the lie on them for me (if necessary). They will check my swing first and make necessary adjustments. They only charge $40 to fit me and make all adjustments on up to 10 clubs.

I hope so. I just changed every club in my bag, so I'm ready to go. I'll probably play a little worse to start with, but my club additions will be beneficial. It'll be nice to have the 56 and 60 degree wedges, both Nike Tiger Woods wedges. I believe those are the same as the SV, or maybe they are the SV. Until now, I've just had an old Titleist sand wedge that was all beat up. I played down to a 6 handicap using these old clubs, so I expect to make a good drop now with good equipment.

I'm pretty sure TW uses pro combo wedges. I use the SV wedges cause the prop combo ones are not made for lefties. We're getting the shaft again, with the grip too, but no head (nike didn't make left handed blades, the procombo hybrid or the procombo wedge). Oh well, these clubs below are nice.

Yeah, I think you're right. The two TW wedges I have look identical to the Pro Combo wedges. I am very happy with them.

It's off topic, so I'll be brief, but I say if your swing has a flaw in it, hitting a blade iron isn't going to help you fix it. Game improvement irons have more than enough feel to be able to play very good golf. It cracks me up sometimes that people think there is just SOOOO much difference between a cavity back and a blade. Back in the day, yes...now, no, not much difference. The fact that someone thinks they can groove a better swing simply by hitting a blade iron is funny to me, but to each their own. If you think it works, go with it. But if you got a bad swing with a cavity back, you'll have a bad swing with a blade. They're not magic clubs.

The fact is we all have swing flaws. Like you said, if you have swing flaws, hitting a blad isn't going to fix it. I know I have swing flaws, but I'm used to hitting a blade, so it's no big deal. If I were to use say a Launcher LP or a CG2 which is more forgiving, according to some I could develop more/worse swing flaws and not know it because the club is covering it up. Like most of you have said, it's probably a bunch of ****, so I could use any of these clubs and be fine. It's just a matter of using the club that feels the best. I'm about a 6-8 handicap, and honestly, the game improvement clubs feel way better to me than the blades, and I'm used to playing blades. Most of my playing partners comment about how good my iron play is. That is definitely the strength of my game, but it's time for new irons.

CG2's are more players clubs than game improvement. Heck I'm thinking about a set of Srixon pro 100's just because I like em and I have no problem hitting a blade. However most people would probably ask why are you hitting blades when so many tour players are hitting cavity backs. I don't care though I like what I like. I think you are gonna love those cg2's, I know I did when I hit em.
