Hey NikeRep07, question for you about Nike NDS Irons
What do you think of these irons? I know they are technically game improvement irons, but I read several reviews from people with high single digit handicaps and they love them. Do you have any experience with these irons?

Yea I have experience with them...I have hit them some, but my best friend who is the pro at the club I belong too actually plays them and loves them! They are one of the best irons for the price...Actually I think this guy is a low handicapper http://www.rorysabbatini.com/Content.asp?pageid=8

Hope that helps!
Yeah, Rory Sabbatini may be a low handicapper...lol.
So, one of the complaints I've heard about game improvement clubs is that while they are forgiving, they can allow you to develop swing flaws without noticing them because the clubs will hide them, and I don't want that to happen. I'm assuming since Rory Sabbatini plays them, as well as some LPGA players, this is something I wouldn't need to be concerned about.
As you've seen in my other posts, I have the MP-30's and will be trying them out tomorrow, but I'm looking at some other possiblities just in case. I'm selling the Launcher LP's because I don't even want to bother with them. It seems like the NDS is a good middle of the road club if the MP-30's don't work out. Currently I am between a 6 and 8 handicap. I don't have an official handicap, just did the math on my own.

Oh the old "swing flaws" gag......thats the biggest bunch of poo in the book...That is a myth that people say when they play clubs they probably shouldn't be, and when they hit a not "perfect" shot it doesnt hit the green...The fact of the matter is, many tour pros are playing "GAME IMPROVEMENT" clubs....The mp-30's are sweet sticks, and I would def reccomend them to a lot of players, but if all that is stopping you from the NDS is that they are a forgiving iron, then thats crazy....Why wouldnt someone want forgivness? or game improvement? I mean...When you are on the course, you are not going to hit solid shots every time..Why not have your clubs save you from time to time? Both are great clubs and you can't go wrong with either....

I think when I posted about the MP-30's vs the Launcher LP's, you said to stay away from the LP's. Do you think the NDS irons are something that isn't as much of a beginner club as the LP's, but a bit more forgiving than the MP-30's? I'm thinking the NDS irons would give me some of the forgiveness of the LP's and some of the workability of the MP-30's.

Yea I def think the NDS are between the LP's and the MP-30's.....The LPS are uhh very big and harsh feeling.....I really dont like them....But i'm sure there are people that like them, but the biggest a low handicapper would go would prob be like a cg4......I am sure there is probably an exception somewhere, but thats just my opinion...I hope that helps!

FINALLY someone that agrees with me. There have been so many people say this around the forum and I've disputed it everytime but I seem to be in the minority.
