Does anyone know what this ball is all about? I can't find any info on it, other than the box. Is this a special/promo/limited run ball?
REason being, I was playing this really tight, Florida coarse that is all trees and water with crowning fairways. Decided to get some inexpensive balls to lose rather than my Pro-Vs. Picked these balls up at Target and fell in love with the ball. Been playing them for 2 weeks now (4 rounds) and really don't want to part with them.
I use those balls exclusively. I don't carry anything else. All my best rounds, farthest hit, closes to the pin, etc. have all been with this ball. I don't think its a promo or limited run production ball because Sports Authority, Outdoor World, etc. sells them at $19.99 for 24 balls everyday. That's a good deal. Which course in Florida? I live in Boca Raton.
I haven't noticed these at Target - what does the box look like? I tried the Nike Power Distance Power Soft in the green box. Really liked them, and plan to use them some more. But if these other Nike SFT's play well, I'd like to try them.
Semi-threadjack: Target was out of the Nike PD/PS mentioned above, so I decided to try some Top-Flite XL3000 that were on sale. NEVER AGAIN! I played two of those balls over 4 holes, and couldn't believe how different they felt, especially pitching and chipping. Tried hitting over water on a 145 yard par 3. About 125 to clear the water, pin in back, so I took out my 8 iron, usually money from 150 yards. Made decent swing, but ball felt like a ball bearing and fell into the lake about a foot from the edge. Pulled out a Dunlop Loco and put it 3 feet from the pin, same club. Didn't even look for the Top-Flite. I'll be using the Nike's from now on!

My sister got me 2 dozen of these for my birthday a few months back, and I can't believe how darn good they are. Is it just me or do they have more "pop" off the tee? And they seem very soft for a $20-a-dozen ball? I've been using them a lot since then.

They are in a red box and come 2 dozen for 19.95. Do a google on them.

They sound like the Titleist HVC balls you get at WalMart and Costco. I think some manufacturers package balls just for the big discounters. I ahve no idea if they are the same as other balls in their line after being branded differently or if they are a true different design.
