Anyone carry 3 wedges?

Does anyone in here carry 3 wedges? Well, actually 4 counting the PW. My CG2 PW is 46*, and I also have 56 and 60 degree Nike wedges. I'm finding a need for a gap wedge but don't really like the idea of having to carry 3 gap/sand/lob wedges. How common is this?

I carry a Pitching, 52*, 56*, and 60*. To do this I don't carry a 5 wood. Depending on how I feel, I'll switch the 60* and 5 wood.

I carry a 45* PW, 55* SW, and a 60* LW. Have a real love/hate relationship going on with the LW right now. When it works, it works well. When it doesn't, I don't know whether to throw it in the lake or bash myself in the skull with it.

I carry a 47 degree pitching wedge, a 52 gap, 56 SW, and a 60 lob. I use my pitching wedge least. I would definitely suggest going with a gap wedge.

I would probably just drop the 3 iron to make room for the gap wedge. The only time I really use a 3 iron is off the tee, and I just bought a Slingshot Tour 18* hybrid, so I'll just use it instead of a 3 iron.

I dropped the 3 & 5 wood, and picked up a 4 wood and wend with 4 wedges. It has helped me, If I need a 3 wood, I'll just gas the 4, or lay off if I need a 5 wood. The wedges allow me to take a full swing all the way down to around 55-60 yards, where I then start backing off my Lob.

Check my signature. 4 including the PW at 47*. For a long time I didn't have a GW. While I still don't know my exact yardages, I still have a 10-15 yard gap between clubs and have a pretty good idea. I don't need to juice a lower club or lay off a higher one.

I re-read a quote of the importance of the short game, "you can recover from a poor long iron shot or drive, but a poor chip or pitch is another shot lost to par."

I gave my 60° LW to my sons friend, and replaced it with a 7-Wood, which I prefer over hybrids.

46° PW
50° GW
54° SW

Your sig isn't posted... FYI.

I use 4 wedges, mainly because I don't carry a hybrid or 2nd fairway wood.
PW=48°=135y; GW=52°=120y; SW=56°=105y; LW=60°=90y

I use 2 PW and a SW I found my control with the set I have to be unmatched. Many times Ill play anything within 7i distance with my 7i until Im next to the green Ill just hit little knockdown 7i shots and theyll roll up close to the hole or a 3i knock down from 150yrds out just seems to work well.

PW is 120 in and SW is 100 in.

I carry a 52, 56, 60 + PW. Depending on the course, sometimes I'll dump the 56 and replace it with my 2 iron if I think I might need better accuracy off the tee.

Four wedges and four woods. Starting this spring I will devote most of my practice time to my short game (from 100 yards in). Hopefully I can take a few more strokes off.
