Hogan clubs are usually pretty decent, if not downright good.

I play the Riviera 56* and can say it is a great wedge. I've spun more balls back with this than any other sw I've had. The face is milled which gives it more texture, similar to the Vokey Spin Milled but not as much. A great wedge which does not (along with all other Hogan clubs) get much marketing from Callaway.

Me?

Nothing, it's January and I live in Chicago.

But I will still play the Hogans (just got a new one w/ a diff bounce). And I have a Cleveland 588 56* that I've played for the last few years.

hogan clubs are very nice, however they get worn very easily...if your looking for a wedge that will last a few seasons i like titleist...but if you dont play alot of golf then u have no worries...u can get nice wedge sets on ebay for real cheap...thats if you dont mind used stuff..some people are pretty particular about buying stuff on line. ill tell you a little story tho that may comfort you...all the stuff i have is used...i buy and sell all the time on ebay. ive only got one club out of 57 that i didnt like due to condition.,..i didnt even hit it to try it. it was a yes c groove putter in terrible shape. as soon as i got it i just relisted it and it sold in a week. i didnt lose a penny. that whats so nice about ebay u can buy and sell and try all sorts of brand name equipment until you find the stuff thats right for you. all the equipment i have is the very best stuff for me and i bought it all on ebay. but as per your question if your looking to spend 60 dollars on a wedge i would reccommend titleist black nickel...the longest lasting wedge i have ever played. nice sharp grooves after 2 years playing everyday. the spinmilled wedge gets beat up quick. and the raw wedges rust fairly easy...grooves wear. the chromes are no good, for me to shiny for fl sun. i think clevenad makes good wedges but they dont fit my eye well. hope this helps and good luck

Rivieras are great (see my sig). You won't be disappointed if you get one.
