New irons on the way...

Just finished paying for a set of irons I got off of Ebay. Titleist 775cb's, including two Vokey wedges, a 56* and a 60*, for 360 bucks, seemed like a good deal to me. I was initially looking for some mizuno mp-60's, but anything in reasonable shape was still 5-600 dollars, of course not including any wedges(the wife already thinks golf is a waste of money ) So, I picked my second choice. Long story short, Ive asked this before, who owns and plays these irons and how well do you like them? I have had opportunity to hit them at the local store off of mats , but how good are they? On the bad side of things it just snowed about 6 inches overnight and it looks like golf is out of the question for a while. We were on about a three week cycle where the weather would break just enough to squeeze in a round here and there, oh well. All replies are appreciated!

775 are nice ive hit them and i liked them...what shafts did u get? i hit them with the titliest heaver steel shafts in a still flex and the ball flight was a little low. i wish i could have hit them with the s300 shafts, i liked the sound and feeling of them on very well struck shots. u can do what ever you want to with these very workable clubs. its seem like with any titliest irons you have to really go after the ball though, i mean hit down and through it. they are a great set of sticks. tell us how u hit them when u have time. good luck

I have last year's version of those clubs (see sig below). Major difference I can see is the reduced offset (which I like) and stronger lofts (which I don't). 804OS launch higher I imagine. I got mine to take the path to forged clubs, and I love them. Wish I had yours though. That's an amazing deal.

Im really looking forward to them for this season. To answer your question copperhack, they were listed as x-stiff, but you know how it is on Ebay, sometimes people arent sure exactly whats what. The lower ball flight doesnt scare me too bad, my flight is generally really high with the clubs Ive got now, but we'll see once I get to practice and play with them. Thanks for the replies!
