Aldila VS proto

Anyone have any thoughts on this shaft? Does anyone have an opinon on wether this shaft will be the next NV for aldila of will it be a bust. Anyone out there who is using it, do you like it? Please respond, I'm very intersted in hearing what others thik about this shaft.

I don't know much about this shaft, but I do like Aldila shafts in general. I've been playing them since I bought my first HM-40 many moons ago.

Aldila is no different than any other manufacturer in that they have to keep producing the next "big thing" and maybe that's all this is, or maybe not.

Check out Aldila's website and compare specs between the Proto and the NV and NVS and see if you can find a significant difference. That's what I always do when something new comes out. I try to determine whether this is something truly innovative and different, or whether it's just a "repackaged" version of an existing technology just to boost sales.

Remember, golf is the most market-driven sport on the planet.
