? on Mizuno iron shafts vs. steel

Tried a friend's Mizuno Mx23 with stiff graphite shaft. I play Cally Fusion that have been reshafted with Rifle TF 5.5. I was really suprised at the feel of the graphite shafts. They were the Mizno Eskar stiff iron shaft.

Are these a decent quality iron shaft? I can't imagine a quality company like Mizuno would use a low quality shaft to detract from their terrific heads.

I'm thinking about picking up a set of the 23s in graphite and this info would be appreciated!
