Thumbs up The New Cleveland "Hibore Hybrid" Irons

Well..............I did it !!!

The Cleveland Tour Van was in Long Beach, CA this weekend and I stopped by JUST TO LOOK at the new Hibore Hybrid Irons. I had been looking at the Adams Idea line but wanted to wait till these new Hibores came out. WOW !!! They were SOOOO easy to hit I couldn't believe it! I wanted to make SURE I liked them so I spent almost an hour hitting them.

A guy named "Simon" from the Cleveland staff was MOST helpfull. He took his time answering all my questions and letting me hit all the different shaft combinations. I told him the only thing that concerned me was that we were hitting off mats, and I wondered how they would feel off of grass? He smiled and said "let's go find out!". He grabbed a bucket of balls and some clubs and walked me down to the end of the driving range to a patch of grass and I hit away!

They were $699 for 3-PW in a graphite shaft, but they were giving a 10% discount on "Demo-Day" so they took $70 right off the price. I took them and went and played 9 holes at my club, then played 18 yesterday. I LOVE these things! Yeah, when you first pick them up they look wide-soled, but that's the beauty of the hybrid design. I am COMPLETELY happy with these!!!

Congrats, buddy!

Hopefully they provide many years of fun and low scores!

Hope you like your irons! I just saw these the other day on TGW and I'm pretty sure they were around only $550 or so.

I wouldn't feel bad about paying a little more though. You get to hit them for an hour and the guy helped you. Can't beat that. How is an iron like this compared to the Nike Slingshot OSS's? Similar or completley different?

Tachus,

You can find pics on the Hibore sight at www.hibore.com

Also, about the pricing, all the places I checked including TGW were selling the steel shafts for $599 and the graphites for $699. This is a progressive size set of irons that is 3 thru PW.

They look cool and so easy to hit. Aren't they just like the Bazooka iron-woods? Do all of the irons look like that or just the long irons?

I like a thin sole and topline.
