I'm not sure if Ping's design was unique or based on a previous putter model, but I think the most copied style of any putter is the Ping Anser.
From what I've seen, almost every clubmaker, putter maker and major club manufacturer has at least one model in their putter "family" based on this design.

I think so. My fave is the Bulls Eye (that's the one I have in the bag), although I voted for the Seemore because it is so unique and helpful to re-learn a great stroke.
You mean to tell me there aren't more opinions on this matter than this?
Lets say for all intents and purposes that all models similar to anser style go under Anser style; For example: My Day, Anser, Pal, Zing, etc. etc. etc. under "anser" style...get it?
Then same with mallets, and then you can post a description of what style you like and what you voted for, if you want to.
The putter with the biggest sweetspot would have four high density weights distributed heel and toe front, and heel and toe back, in the four corners of a square, with a light supporting structure holding the weights, connecting to the shaft, and making a clubface. I made one like that and it works pretty well.
