Fit on shafts are popular all over the place... They are easily accessable. Most GOOD golf shops that do repair will have them in stock. Good shaft across the board. Lower torque then most. You better have the swing speed to handle the 95 gram shaft. Im guessing that you are looking at a torque rating of around 2.0? That is stout! Near telephone type! haha

I haven`t tried the 905r yet D-Dog, but if it`s anything as good as the 905t, then it must be a winner. The 905t is the nicest feeling driver I`ve ever used (despite the fact I bought the wrong type shaft for it ) ....it almost make me want to relegate the ole Cleveland Launcher to the shed!

905R has been the number 1 shaft on tour for the last year. It is solid. Made for the better player in mind.

Nothing wrong with the Cleveland Launcher. I used the 400CC all through college. Best driver of thier times!

thanks guys i had a 983k for a couple of years with the aldila shaft in it and really liked it until i broke the shaft and i put a grafally prolaunch blue stiff shaft in it and couldn't hit the thing straight so i decided instead of reshafting it i would just by an upgrade. ive demoed the 905r and its pretty sweet with the normal shafts in it i hope its better with the upgraded shaft.
thanks guy for the info

I have not tried that combo. But let me know how you like the R. I have the T but have been thinking of upgrading. Not sure what shaft I would put in it. I currently have t YS6 in my T.

The club rocks! That shaft sounds like a 2x4 though...you can always change it...BTW, I don't care what the temps are, I would find an indoor range or just take some balls somewhere and try that thing out!

I decided to purchase this driver, and I too am having a difficult time selecting the shaft. I'm also having a difficult time selecting the loft. I hit my R580 too high, though I found out that has more to do with the shaft. So, will a stiff flex (fujikara speeder 757) and lower loft (8.5) result in a drive that's too low?

Inquiring mind(s) want to know.

Regards,
Mark

My brother-in-law bought one with a Grafalloy Blue in it. It hits pretty good. He knows I'm just waiting for him to mess up, and skymark it so I can get it on the cheap.
The thing that really surprises me about this driver, it's actually possible for a hack like me to hit it off the ground with good results.
