I can remember when Cobra was a premier company (still are). Seems they may have been eclipsed by companies like TM, Cleveland, etc. Adams golf is starting to get a lot of respect, Nickent is great, there are actually a bunch... Hmmm. Don't know which is the "most" underrated?
Adams Golf HANDS DOWN........Adams new line this year is awesome....If people would give them a chance, they would be very impressed.....Tour Stage is a close second
You all may think Im off my rocker(maybe I am) but Id say Nicklaus. They make some wonderful clubs and arent real exspensive to boot. I dont believe Adams is underrated that much anymore since their hybrids. Then tour edge I feel is getting there and is not highly underrated just slightly underrated. Wilson is getting respected more and more even though back in the day they were tops. IMO THE most underrated are component brands or names such as integra. They make some wonderful stuff and yet 97% of the golf population probably doesnt know of their products or wont give them a change as its not taylormade or ping or so on.
I definately agree with NikeRep. Its got to be ADAMS. They have the #1 hybrid in all of golf. They have one of the best new lines in 07 and they have something for everyone. I would have never considered playing Adams before this year.
Well in the past I would have said Tommy Armour, but since the 845 line of clubs I am really concerned about their long-term survivability. I am hoping one of the big OEMs buys them out and continues the name.
Someone mentioned Tour Edge, I have heard that their Backdraft putter line (under $40) is really, really good, very Taylor Made like.
I would vote for Adams. I think they only problem they may have is one of perception, a lot of people think Adams, they think senior clubs and that's not really true. I do see a lot of Adams clubs at Wal-Mart when I go to buy balls or tees, I wonder if that may hurt them also as far as being underrated?
I recently purchased a tours edge exotics driver.
I have never consistently hit a ball further.
I have also increased my fairways hit by over 15%.
Then there is the cost which is lower than most.
And a lifetime guarantee !!
I think Srixon and Adams are probably the most underrated OEMs although I think Srixon's popularity is starting to increase. They have some amazing clubs (the Pro100's look amazing ). Adam's should also do very well this year with their Idea Pro Forged set!
