Rescue Mid to much like my V Steel 3 wood?

I just got my Rescue mid 2-16* yesterday. It supposed to replace my V Steel 5 wood. Is this to much like my V Steel 3 wood? Is it going to play as long as my 3 wood? I understand my 3 wood is a little longer than the Rescue but not by much. I just don't want two clubs that are alike in my bag. Should I get rid of the 3 wood and replace it with the Rescue mid 2 and then buy another Rescue mid of a different degree?

I'd venture to guess they'll be pretty close, being that the 3 wood is 15 degrees and your RM 16. They will differ slightly in distance and most particularly in trajectory - the RM will launch higher (I would have to imagine, anyway). Also, the RM probably has a shorter shaft, so it will play a bit shorter for that reason.

Actually, the more I think about it, the RM may actually play very close to a 5 wood. You'd just have to test them out I guess.

The V-steel will play longer, and most likely have more carry as well. The 16* I have is a lower launching club for me that plays really well in windy conditions.
