do you all know what the difference between face balanced and heel balanced putters are? thanks.

I think face balance = if you hold the shaft at the balance point the face will be square.

Heel balance= if you hold the shaft at the balance point the heel will be up in the air and the toe be down.

how does that translate in relation to your stroke? as in, X is better for straight strokes, and so on...

square is for the straight back straight thru swing

heel balanced is for the arc (door swing)

Hey everyone I was watching European PGA golf today and I notice that some of the golfers men and women had a putter that had a shaft up to their chest or armpit. Is their advantages with that over the norm?
