I have a set of irons sized for me (+1 inch, 2 deg upright)...and I am looking to get a hybrid or two. Do I need to get the hybrids custom fit to these specifications as well, or are they considered more like a driver (which the pro said I did not have to custom fit).


Also, if needed, is there anywhere online where you can get custom fit hybrids?

I have +1's and 5-degrees upright. I called Ping and spoke with on of their fitters. The only thing he suggested was getting the hybrids a half-inch longer. I asked about lie angle and he said not to worry about it.

I would suggest calling the manufacturer of the club(s) you are interested in and asking them.
